DOZEN 400 MILLION YEAR OLD DEVONIAN AGE ORTHOCERAS FOSSIL COLLECTION
These Orthoceras Fossils Are Devonian In Age And Just Under 400 Million Years Old. They Are Embedded In Marble And Was Dug In A Quarry In Morocco.

When Alive This Creature Had A Head Similar To A Squid. It Would Have Looked Like A Squid With A Long Skinny Ice Cream Cone Shape Shell. The Flesh Of Course Would Have Decomposed And All We Are Left With Is The Shell. They Hunted In Swarms Of Thousands And Even Top Predators Got Out Of The Way When The Swarm Was Coming.
