These Are Song Dynasty Chinese Cash Coins. They All Have Some Sediment Buildup (Two Are Stuck Together). One Is A Scarce 10 Cash Coin Issued In The Late 1100S (So Wreck Has To Be Close To 1200Ad Or Later). Note Corrosion, Sediment Buildup And Abnormal Wearing Patterns.

Coins Were Found On An Unidentified Shipwreck In The South China Sea. It Was Probably A Merchant Ship - One Of Many That Plied Up And Down The East Asian Coast That Was Often Not Properly Seaworthy. Coin Has Sediment Buildup And Corrosion As You Would Expect From Spending Hundreds Of Years Underwater. A Great Item For Coin And Artifact Collectors.
