2021 Tomich, Woodside Vineyard, Riesling 750ml (Offered by the case of 12 x 750ml Bottles) 2021 Woodside Vineyard Riesling This Single Vineyard range of wines is handcrafted from Estate-grown fruit from our high altitude, cool climate vineyard. The wines are single varietal: displaying elegance, complexity and dedication to style. Tasting Notes Vintage: 2021 Variety: Riesling Region: Adelaide Hills Winemaker: Randal Tomich Colour: Pale straw green Bouquet: Classically aromatic with hints of lime, lemon and elderflowers Palate: A crisp and persisting palate with lively floral spice, lemon zest and hints of lime Food Pairing Serve chilled with freshly shucked oysters, crayfish or juicy salt and pepper squid. Vintage Conditions 2021 was a long and consistent vintage. Not too hot, with rain at the perfect times. We picked from late February to Mid-April, and bunches were consistent and uniform with fruit quality super high. Winemaking Harvested in the cool, early morning to maintain optimal fruit quality and aromas, the grapes were crushed and pressed immediately to extract the purest flavours. Separate batches were fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the natural freshness and liveliness of the fruit.
