Produced from premium Australian wine spirit and matured in a single oak cask, Sullivan's Cove's Single Cask XO Brandy range is bottled one barrel at a time, allowing each cask to express its own unique personality. The extended maturation has created a spirit of exceptional depth and refinement, where vibrant fruit character is beautifully integrated with the influence of carefully seasoned oak. With an outturn of only 190 bottles, Barrel TDB0029 ranks among the rarer brandy releases from Sullivan's Cove, making it particularly desirable for collectors and enthusiasts.
The nose is beautifully complex, revealing aromas of dried figs, apricot, golden raisins and candied orange peel, layered with notes of vanilla bean, toffee, toasted almonds and polished oak. The palate is rich, silky and elegantly structured, offering generous flavours of caramelised stone fruits, honey, roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate and crème brûlée, complemented by hints of cinnamon, clove and gentle spice. The finish is exceptionally long and warming, lingering with impressions of vanilla, dried fruit, caramelised oak and sweet baking spices, delivering a refined and memorable conclusion.
