Crafted from premium Australian wine spirit and matured in a single oak cask, Sullivan's Cove's Single Cask XO Brandy is produced in extremely limited quantities, with each barrel bottled individually to preserve its unique personality. This single cask approach allows the spirit to develop remarkable depth and complexity over time, creating a brandy that combines vibrant fruit character with elegant oak influence. Rarely encountered on the secondary market, these early XO bottlings have become increasingly sought after by collectors of premium Australian spirits.
The nose is rich and beautifully layered, opening with aromas of dried apricot, golden sultanas, baked pear and orange marmalade, complemented by notes of vanilla bean, butterscotch, toasted almonds and polished oak. The palate is luxuriously smooth and full-bodied, revealing flavours of caramel, honeyed raisins, stewed stone fruits, roasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate, enhanced by hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and candied citrus peel.
