The chassis is heavy RHS steel with closely spaced cross-members, galvanised and powder coated in black. The independent coil-spring suspension with four shock absorbers handles corrugations and loaded highway work far better than leaf springs. 3,500 kg ATM with breakaway braking system.
The canopy is well laid out with a lockable T-handle door, gas strut assist, and rubber-matted floor. Pull-out drawers run on heavy-duty ball-bearing runners. The electrical control panel is centralised with labelled switches for all lights, fridge, and pump, plus USB outlets and 240V GPOs.
The components are budget-grade, which is expected at this price point. The solar controller is a basic PWM unit rather than MPPT, there is no DC-DC charger for charging from the tow vehicle, and the Goodride tyres are a budget brand. For serious remote work, you would want to add a DC-DC charger and possibly upgrade the tyres down the track. But the bones are solid and the layout is genuinely practical.
