Description
The SYM Fiddle III is a popular Taiwanese-built commuter scooter with a strong reputation for build quality and reliability when properly maintained. This 2013 example shows 13,861km on the odometer, which is genuinely low for its age. It has been off the road for some time and currently does not start or run.
Cosmetically the scooter is in fair condition for a 10-year-old machine. The cream/champagne body panels are all present and aligned, with no major cracks or missing sections. Paint is dull and dirty but shows no heavy fading or peeling. The seat is intact with no tears. The front headlight, twin front indicators, and tail light appear undamaged. Both mirrors are present. There is minor scuffing on the exhaust/muffler consistent with a previous minor drop or contact with the ground. An aftermarket MotoBatt AGM replacement battery is fitted. The fuel gauge shows near-empty. Moisture ingress into the instrument cluster housing is visible in photos.
