About This Trailer
The GIC Black Series Dominator was the flagship model in GIC Campers' 1300 Campers lineup, built for families who wanted serious off-road capability without the weight of a caravan. Forward-fold design means the tent goes up quick, the body is aluminium composite and holds up well, and the Dominator was marketed as a one-trip-setup trailer from day one. This is a 10-year-old example that has clearly been used for its intended purpose, presented in fair to good condition with some surface wear appropriate to its history.
The kitchen is a proper setup. A stainless steel slide-out compartment holds an oven/grill unit with gas controls, and there is a separate fridge compartment with a slide-out tray and ventilation fan sized for a full 12V compressor fridge. LPG gas compliance was certified by a Queensland licensed supervisor in August 2016 (Certificate SFR001044, LPG Propane). The 12V electrical panel includes a REDARC battery management system, a voltmeter, water tank gauge, and individual switches for the fridge, pump, lights, and a charge circuit. The safety chains, roof rack framework, rear bumper hardware, and some mounting brackets show surface rust consistent with age and off-road use. None of the rust is structural. The front pole storage tube shows paint chipping/peeling. Body panels are straight and intact.
Comparable examples of the 2016 GIC Black Series range are currently listed for private sale at $16,500 for the Patron (the model below the Dominator). This Dominator is the more capable and better-equipped variant. At current bid it is significantly below where this model trades in the private market.
