5.8m fibreglass cuddy cabin runabout on a Dunbier tandem-axle roller trailer, ATM 1800kg. No motor fitted. Completely stripped interior. Sold strictly as a restoration or salvage project. Inspect before bidding.
Hull and Construction
White fibreglass hull with moulded horizontal lapstrake strakes, half-cabin (cuddy) design with stainless steel bow rail and two portlight windows each side. Approximately 5.8m LOA, V-hull. Gelcoat is heavily oxidised and chalky throughout with total loss of gloss. Topsides appear structurally fair externally with no major cracks or delamination visible on the hull sides. One area of gelcoat failure on the starboard bow, approximately 300mm x 400mm. Transom has been fully stripped of hardware. Interior face of the transom shows exposed marine plywood core with brown and amber water staining across the full width and delamination at the upper corners, indicating prolonged moisture ingress. Core integrity should be assessed with a moisture meter. The cabin bulkhead base also shows delamination and water damage. HIN not sighted. Buyers should confirm registration transfer requirements with the NT transport authority before bidding.
Drive Configuration and Engine
No motor, sterndrive leg, or outboard bracket is fitted. All drive hardware has been removed. The hull appears to have been configured for sterndrive (inboard/outboard) based on the transom profile and internal engine bay layout, though this has not been confirmed. Drive type and transom modification details should be verified on inspection.
Interior and Cockpit
Interior is completely stripped. No instruments, gauges, steering wheel, throttle controls, or upholstery are installed. Cockpit sole is bare fibreglass. Forward V-berth moulding is intact. Small foredeck hatch is present (burgundy lid, hinged). One open deck fitting hole on the starboard foredeck has no cover fitted. The following loose components are stored inside the vessel and are included in the sale: fabricated aluminium fuel tank, original brown vinyl seat cushion pads, wiring loom, throttle/shift binnacle control unit, and miscellaneous fibreglass trim pieces. All items sold as is.
Trailer
Dunbier tandem-axle roller trailer. ATM: 1800kg. Hydraulic override brake actuator. Manual winch with webbing strap. Galvanised steel frame. Main chassis rails and longitudinal members retain partial galvanising and appear structurally intact. Cross-member joints, roller support brackets, axles, and leaf springs show heavy corrosion with flaking orange/brown rust and galvanising failure throughout. Axle condition is a significant concern and would require inspection or replacement before roadworthy certification. Tyres are mismatched and appear aged. Trailer registration status not confirmed, buyers to verify.
