Description/extras: 2021 Husqvarna TE250 TPI, the fuel-injected 2-stroke enduro that commands a premium when it is right. This one is not right yet. No key, no power, unknown running condition, and no kickstand. It does have the kickstarter as a backup option though.
The bike has been ridden hard and put away wet. All the original Husqvarna livery has been replaced with an all-black scheme, the grips are destroyed, the seat is worn, and the plastics are battered from what looks like 100-200+ hours of genuine trail riding. Multiple tip-over scuffs on the rear fender and exhaust, handguards worn from bush bashing. This is a bike that has been used for exactly what it was built for.
The frame appears straight with no evidence of a major crash, both Excel rims look true, the WP XPLOR forks and shock are present and appear serviceable, the Brembo brakes are all there, and the engine cases show no external damage. The skid plate has done its job protecting the bottom end.
On a TPI 2-stroke with this many estimated hours, the top end could be fresh or it could be due. Without a key you cannot check compression, listen to it run, or pull fault codes from the ECU. A key replacement through a Husqvarna dealer runs $150-200. If the engine is healthy, you are looking at $800-1,500 in cleanup costs (key, kickstand, grips, chain and sprockets, suspension service) to have a very capable trail bike. If the top end is cooked, add another $500-1,000 in parts.
