Baroque Style Three-Piece Lounge Suite - Gilt Frame with Damask and Velvet Upholstery

Three-piece lounge suite in a Baroque style comprising one three-seat settee and two tub armchairs. Each piece features an ornately carved gilt timber frame with scrolled cabriole legs, floral and foliate carved aprons, and an elaborate pierced and carved crest rail on the settee. The backrest upholstery is button-tufted velvet in a muted champagne-pink tone, and the seat upholstery is a tonal gold damask fabric with a large-scale floral pattern. Decorative gimp braid trim runs along the upholstery edges.

Condition Notes
The gilt finish on the timber frames shows , with areas of surface marks visible on the legs, aprons and carved details. Minor fraying of the gimp braid trim is visible at the junction between the backrest and seat upholstery on the armchairs. The damask seat fabric shows light creasing. The carved crest rail and pierced central medallion on the settee are intact. All legs appear structurally sound across the three pieces. See photos for full condition detail.
