THE GLASS PANELS ARE SET WITHIN TIMBER FRAMES WITH CROSSED TIMBER MULLIONS IN AN X PATTERN. EACH LANTERN HAS A FRONT-OPENING DOOR SECURED BY A METAL LATCH, WITH METAL STRAP HINGES TO THE SIDES. HINGES AND LATCHES ARE PRESENT ON EACH LANTERN. MINOR SURFACE WEAR IS VISIBLE TO THE BASE EDGES OF THE SMALLEST LANTERN.
