WHITE MOULDED PLASTIC STACKING

A GROUP OF WHITE MOULDED PLASTIC STACKING CHAIRS WITH A SCULPTURAL, ORGANIC FORM. EACH CHAIR FEATURES A CONTINUOUS CURVED SHELL WITH TWO OVAL CUTOUT ARMRESTS ON EITHER SIDE, A CONCAVE SEAT, AND A ROUNDED BACKREST THAT FLOWS INTO THE BASE. THE DESIGN IS STACKABLE, AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS.

CONDITION:
THE CHAIRS SHOW WEAR CONSISTENT WITH AGE AND USE. SCUFFS, SCRATCHES AND MINOR CHIPPING ARE VISIBLE ALONG THE EDGES AND STACKING CONTACT POINTS. SURFACE DIRT AND DISCOLOURATION ARE PRESENT ON THE SEAT AREAS AND UNDERSIDES. THE GLOSSY WHITE FINISH IS WORN IN PLACES, PARTICULARLY WHERE THE CHAIRS CONTACT EACH OTHER WHEN STACKED.

Mid-Century Modern (1940-1970); Circa 1970S; Moulded Plastic; Scuffs, Scratches And Marks Visible To The Edges And Surfaces Of The Chairs, Consistent With Stacking Use And Age. Some Discolouration And Dirt Marks Visible To The Seat Area And Undersides. The Glossy White Finish Shows Wear And Minor Chipping Along Contact Edges Where The Chairs Stack Together.
