Condition Notes
The leather writing surface shows staining, ring marks, discolouration and a visible crease or split line across the centre. The tooled border detail with scrollwork pattern remains visible around the perimeter of the leather. Scuffing and wear are present on the timber edges and mouldings, with paint or finish chips visible along the front edge. The drawer interiors show age-related wear, staining and marks. The brass drop handles are intact across all five drawers, though patinated with age. The turned legs show finish wear and scuffing at the base. Brass castors are present on all visible legs, showing oxidation. The rear panels show general finish wear and scuffing. The lower shelves show surface wear and finish loss.
