A 2026 black Chevrolet ZR2 Silverado personally driven by seven-time Bathurst winner Craig Lowndes, which has been transformed into a tribute vehicle celebrating the 30th anniversary of his extraordinary 1996 Triple Crown.

That unforgettable season established Lowndes as one of Australian motorsport’s brightest stars. At just 22 years of age, he claimed the Australian Touring Car Championship and combined with Greg Murphy to win both the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000 — an achievement that remains one of the defining chapters of his legendary career.


To commemorate those three milestone victories, this Silverado features unique 30th-anniversary detailing inspired by Lowndes’ historic 1996 season.


Finished in imposing black, the Silverado will be presented with approximately 10,000 kilometres on the odometer. It will also come with an exclusive set of personalised registration plates “CHAMP 96” — supplied by Personalised Plates Queensland (PPQ), further reinforcing the vehicle’s unique identity and connection to Lowndes.


This is an opportunity to secure a unique piece of touring car history, a vehicle personally driven by Craig Lowndes during one of the sport’s most memorable seasons.

PPQ LEGENDS NIGHT - SUPPORTING MOTORSPORT MINISTRIES


The PPQ Legends Night is one of Australian motorsport’s most prestigious annual charity events, bringing together champions, industry leaders, corporate partners and passionate supporters to celebrate the people and stories that have shaped the sport.

Now in its third year, the event will honour Australian motorsport legend Craig Lowndes while raising vital funds for Motorsport Ministries, an organisation that has quietly supported the Australian motorsport community since 1986.

Motorsport Ministries trains, appoints and supports a national network of chaplains who provide confidential pastoral care, peer support and practical assistance to competitors, team members, officials, volunteers and their families.

Motorsport can deliver extraordinary highs, but it can also produce enormously difficult moments. Serious accidents, injuries, personal loss, mental health challenges, financial pressure and the demands of competition can affect everyone involved. Motorsport Ministries’ chaplains are there during these moments - at race meetings and beyond - offering a trusted person to talk to and genuine care without judgement.

Their support is available to everyone within the motorsport community, regardless of their background, beliefs, race, religion or gender. Their ultimate vision is to have a trained chaplain available at every motorsport event in Australia.

The PPQ Legends Night has raised more than $200,000 for Motorsport Ministries in each of its first two years, thanks to the remarkable generosity of the motorsport industry, event partners, donors and successful auction bidders.

Every item in this auction has been generously donated, and Lloyds Auctions is once again supporting the event on a premium-free basis.

Most importantly, 100 per cent of the proceeds from every auction item will be donated directly to Motorsport Ministries, helping its chaplains continue providing care and support across Australian motorsport and invested for the organisation’s future.
