Australia 2019 $2 ANZAC 100 Years of Repatriation Coloured Two Dollar Coin

A hundred years after the first diggers came home, the Royal Australian Mint struck this coin to mark the centenary of the Australian Repatriation Department, established in 1919 to care for veterans returning from the Great War. The reverse carries a ring of vivid red poppies surrounding the repatriation crest, pad-printed in bold colour on gold-tone aluminium-bronze. It is a genuinely moving design on a coin that resonates with veterans' families, history enthusiasts, and ANZAC Day commemorative collectors.



This example presents in strong uncirculated condition. The colour printing is fully intact with crisp red and black poppy detail. Gold-toned surfaces are lustrous with no visible contact marks, scratches or circulation wear. Design and lettering are sharp throughout.
