Red Leather Coin Album - Vintage Numismatic Collection Storage

Item Description
A classic red leather-bound coin album in excellent condition, designed for serious numismatists and casual collectors alike. This traditional storage solution features a deep crimson leather exterior with gold embossed lettering reading "COIN ALBUM" on the front cover.

Physical Specifications
Exterior: Genuine red leather binding with professional finish
Cover dimensions: Approximately 280 x 250 mm (H x W)
Spine: Reinforced leather with visible stitching
Hardware: Three brass fasteners securing the binding
Pages: Cream-coloured card stock with pre-printed denomination fields and lined spaces for cataloguing

Interior Configuration
The album contains multiple pages of archival-quality card stock, each featuring 12 individual coin holders arranged in a 4 x 3 grid pattern. Each holder is protected by a transparent plastic sleeve, allowing full visibility of both obverse and reverse sides of coins without removal. Pre-printed fields beneath each holder provide space for recording date, mint mark, and collector notes.

Current Contents
The album currently houses approximately 12 coins of varying denominations and ages, displayed across the first page. The remaining pages are blank and available for expansion of the collection. Coins appear to be historical copper or bronze specimens, consistent with numismatic collections from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Condition Assessment
The leather exterior shows minor surface wear consistent with age and use, including light creasing and subtle patina development. The binding remains structurally sound with no tears or separation. All fasteners are functional and secure. The interior pages are clean and undamaged, with no foxing or discolouration observed. The transparent sleeves remain clear and protective.

Collector Value
This album represents a practical and attractive storage solution for numismatic collections. The traditional leather construction provides both protection and aesthetic appeal, making it suitable for display or archival storage. The pre-printed format allows for systematic organisation and easy reference of coin holdings. Ideal for collectors seeking to preserve and catalogue historical coinage or those establishing a new collection.
