One-Off Formula 1 Style V8 Track Car Project – BMW M3 V8 & 7-Speed DCT
This is a genuine one-off Formula-style track day car, Designed and built over approximately five years.
The proportions were based on a 1:18 scale 2011/2012 Red Bull Formula One model, which was carefully measured and scaled up to full size before designing and fabricating the chassis.
The goal was to create a lightweight, high-performance open-wheel car that captured the look and feel of a modern Formula One car while using The Reliable BMW V8 power and a dual-clutch transmission. It was never intended for any particular race category or road registration—only as an exciting track day car.

Full carbon fibre bodywork
Custom aluminium floor tray.
Custom aluminium rear wing frame, foam cored and ready for final carbon fibre skin
Custom fabricated wishbone suspension
Formula-style pushrod suspension with rocker arms on all four corners
Single front coil over operating both front rockers
Individual rear coil overs
Donor hubs converted to centre-lock wheel arrangement to suit the wheels which were used on the 2010 Force India F1 car
Brakes and brake lines 90% installed
Adjustable front-to-rear brake bias controller mounted beside the driver's seat
Rolling chassis
Approximately 70% complete
Comes with a Pallet of Custom Fabricated parts, Carbon Fibre, Resin and many other accessories.
The project has been stored indoors for approximately 10 years and is being sold as the Vendor is moving house and no longer has room to keep it.
The engine has never been started since it was purchased and should be considered untested.
The vehicle has not been engineered or certified and is sold as an unfinished project.
It would suit an experienced fabricator, engineer, motorsport enthusiast or collector looking for a truly unique project that cannot simply be bought off the shelf.
