Description
This is an authentic Wedgwood limited edition collector's plate from 'The Village Green' series, depicting 'The Steam Fair' - a charming scene of village life at the turn of the century. The plate features intricate hand-painted detail showing a bustling fair scene with period-dressed figures, vintage fairground attractions, and ornate tents rendered in soft watercolour tones of cream, pink, blue and green.

The reverse bears the official Wedgwood backstamp, maker's mark, and the certificate of authenticity confirming Plate Number 5890A in the official limited edition. The plate is presented with its original Certificate of Authenticity signed by Richard A. Barnes, Managing Director of Wedgwood, verifying the registration and limited production run.
