Poplar, reproduction, four drawer Commode in the Louis XVth manner. Moulded edge to the overhanging top with serpentine shaped front and slight bombe shaped ends. Four full width drawers to the centre part with moulded scroll decoration to borders. Heavily carved rococo decorated base rail with central stylised scallop shell cartouche. Cabriole corner feet, each terminating in ball and claw. Cast gilt brass drop handles to drawer fronts on eagle and cartouche form backplates. Matching lockplates to keyholes.
