Provenance: Julian Trevelyan (1910-1988) Was A British Surrealist Painter, Printmaker, And Etcher Born In Dorking. Post-War, He Taught At Chelsea College Of Art And Was Senior Tutor Of Etching At The Royal College Of Art. Trevelyan'S Work Reflects Influences From Extensive Travels Across Malta, France, Italy, India, And Africa. His Etchings And Paintings Are Held In Major Collections Including The Tate Gallery, Arts Council, Contemporary Arts Society, And Museum Of Modern Art, New York.
