2022 Sidney Wilcox Vine Dried Shiraz (Case of 12x 750ml) GRAPES Shiraz REGION Riverland VINIFICATION & WINEMAKING The vineyard in the 2022 vintage experienced primarily mild and cooler growing conditions. The timely arrival of September rainfall further supported the growing season, resulting in consistent fruit maturation. Around two weeks prior to harvest we reduced the water to encourage the grapes to partially dehydrate and concentrate flavours. Unique soils and extended summer led to this remarkable Shiraz. It's richly colored, brimming with fruit, inviting another sip. ANALYSIS Alcohol 16.0% pH 3.7 Titratable Acidity 5.4 COLOUR Deep velvet red. NOSE An intricate bouquet of aromatic spices and lush dark fruits, complemented by subtle hints of nutmeg, toasted notes, and dark chocolate, creating an inviting and sophisticated aromatic profile. PALATE Rich flavours of cinnamon, ripe dark berries, and cloves prevail. The wine’s seamless acidity and silky tannins deliver a full-bodied, robust, and elegantly smooth tasting experience.
