Lithium batteries can be dangerous if not handled properly, so it's important to follow safety guidelines. Here are some tips for safely using lithium batteries:
Store properly
Keep batteries away from heat, direct sunlight, and flammable materials. Store them in a non-flammable container and within the manufacturer's recommended temperature range.
Charge safely
Use the charger that came with the battery and only charge it on a non-flammable surface. Don't leave batteries unattended while charging.
Check regularly
Inspect batteries regularly for damage, swelling, leaking, or unusual odors. Don't use batteries that are damaged or swollen.
Handle with care
Don't disassemble, crush, cut, puncture, or incinerate batteries. Don't mix old and new batteries, or batteries from different brands. Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets.
