Extremely Rare Japanese Whiskey (A901)

Hibiki 30Yo "Arita-Yaki" Blended Japanese Whiskey, 43%ABV, 750ml

Suntory Limited Yamazaki "Age Unknown" Over 25Yo Single Malt Japanese Whiskey, 43%ABV, 750ml, REL 1989

Only 100 of these beautiful hand made Arita-Yaki decanters of Hibiki 30 Years were ever made worldwide.
The word origin for Whisky, uisge-beatha, means "water of life". The bottle embossed with the features of whisky making including sun, barley, copper still, cask and craftsmanship represents a compilation of the art of Iwao Taizan Kilns, a prestigious Arita ware pottery. Deformation of bluish-purple enamel during firing creates subtle variations between each bottle. What has been contained in the bottle is HIBIKI 30 Years, a masterpiece of whisky of Suntory with a history of over 90 years of whisky making. A bouquet of luxurious fragrances soars with comfortable full bodiness and strong woodiness, derived from malts that are matured over several years while the aftertaste lasts long.

From Japan’s first and oldest distillery, established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torri, the founder of Suntory. The Age Unknown bottling was produced to celebrate the life of Japan’s beloved Keizo Saji when he was awarded ‘Recipients of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, 1st class’ in 1989. This whisky boasts some of Yamazaki’s hidden reserves and the entire reserves all consist of whiskies that have been aged in barrel for over 25 years.
Bottled in 1989, the whisky is exclusively of 25 years or older but is otherwise 'Age Unknown' and drawn from the Yamazaki reserve stock.
