Description

A well-struck 1 oz .999 fine copper round from Golden State Mint, one of the leading US private mints. The obverse carries a detailed relief of a bald eagle with wings fully spread, accompanied by the inscriptions "STRENGTH FREEDOM PRIDE" arching along the rim with star separators, and "IN GOD WE TRUST" in the field. The reverse features a waving American flag in high relief with flowing folds, inscribed "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER" above and "GOLDEN STATE MINT" along the lower rim. Both sides show a proof-like finish with warm satin-copper relief against more reflective fields. A minor contact mark is noted near the centre of the flag reverse. The round is housed in a protective clear acrylic capsule. Condition is near-mint uncirculated.
